Organizational Structure

Ofok has a board that comprises of five people, including a Chairman, a General Secretary, and a Chief Financial-Officer. An executive committee ensures the smooth day-to-day running of activities as well as granting support to Ofok projects. The Chairman of Ofok is Sharawy Abdel-Baky.

Ofok operates in a post-bureaucratic manner. We all call each other by our first names, and there is no "boss" in the strict sense of the term. We try to create an atmosphere in which every person has a say, and where everyone feels part of a team. In our opinion, the best way to pursue a strategy is for decisions to be made through dialogue and consensus rather than authority and command.
