Quality Assurance Plan
To ensure the best education for all, the Ofok e-Academy has put in place the following quality assurance plan:
- The curriculums that are taught are academy track programs as these provide students with in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of the subject matter they are studying. In instances where the academy track is not available for certain courses, the Ofok e-Academy takes it upon itself to devise a learning program which will be of utmost benefit to students.
- All students are treated equally and fairly. The curriculums that are taught are not done in a manner that is too intensive so students cannot absorb any of the information, nor too slowly as to cause any delays. The pace of learning is therefore “just right”.
- Everyone is judged according to his or her own merits. Preferential treatment and discrimination are therefore not accepted.
- Cheating is unacceptable. Any students who are caught cheating – or teachers who allow their students to cheat – are to be disciplined and are liable to be expelled from the Ofok e-Academy.
- Students are granted the right support. A student who does not know enough English for example will not be allowed to take a course which requires a good level of English. He or she will first have to pass an English exam. Likewise, a student with limited IT skills will have to take basic IT courses prior to taking any of the advanced courses.
- Students who are not willing to learn, study hard, and come on time, but are merely enrolling to “just obtain a certificate” are not encouraged to apply. This potentially means a waste of their money and time, as well as a waste of the Ofok e-Academy’s resources.
